I want to give you some information regarding Palmers Acres subdivison Plymouth Michigan but first here's a little history lesson on Plymouth Michigan: The city of Plymouth was built where three Potawatomi Indian trails converged at the Rouge River. The first settlers arrived in 1825, and named the township in honor of the first American settlement at Plymouth Rock where some of them had lived. Attracted by the land act of 1820, which made property available at $1.25 an acre, the first settlers arrived here in 1824. The first home was built in what is now the city in 1825. The first actual people to settle in Plymouth Township, were Allen and William Tibbets. They had bought 800 acres of land and settled on them, in the latter part of 1824.
