So I have to admit that recently I have not been as active on the rain as I would have liked.  So as I started several posts, nothing seemed to flow or feel right to post at this time, though I am not sure why.  I then started on a topic that I feel very strongly about, volunteerism.   After volunteering with many different groups and organizations over the years I have to say the time I spend with my "little brother", who I was put in touch with via Greater Lansing Big Brothers Big Sisters, is the most rewarding of all.  Though there are many wonderful charities in the world today and several that I actively participate in,  I have found BBBS the most rewarding.  Today for example, as I sat waiting for my little, "John", I had the opportunity to see his face when he left his class room...

The number one question I am asked these days is, how's business?  I usually answer the question, that it's unbelievable! You can take that any way you want; however, I take the positive road when it comes to the real estate industry. I have often told my agents that if we did not have problems in this industry, sellers and buyers would not need us. Grand Ledge School District has much to offer students and parents who are fortunate enough to live in this district. Grand Ledge has a rich history of academic excellence, community pride and community partnerships. To become better acquainted with this district, I recommend visiting the Districts Website. Grand Ledge has had $40,130,778.00 or 228 sale units as of December 30th for 2007. of that figure, $32,309,417.00 or 178 units were residential sales, $6,511,351.00 (37 Units) were Condominium sales. Grand Ledge real estate is experiencing less price adjusting compared to other communities based on the Coldwell Banker Hubbell 3rd Quarter Market Report. There is so much to offer in this great community, only a short drive west of the Lansing Mall. The sales staff at Townsend on the Park in Grand Ledge have unveiled a new marketing campaign.  Buyers are being enticed with a 2 year lease on a Mazda 3 when they purchase any of the available condos.  Townsend on the Park has 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units with starting prices at $101,000, $115,900 and $129,900 respectively. Crippen Auto Mall is providing the leases on the Mazda 3s being dangled.  Cars.com gives the Mazda 3 an average rating.   An average condo and an average car might make for an above average deal.  If you're in the market for a condo it can't hurt to check it out.Note: Townsend on the Park isn't being represented by my broker and I haven't been bribed with money or cars to write this entry.
