Pickle Ball, it's a sports craze in many retirement communities across the country, but it isn't just for old people. The game, was invented in Seattle, Wash. in the 1960s and is essentially a modified game of tennis played on a shortened court, with a wiffle ball and graphite rackets. It is very similar to tennis, but the wiffle ball acts a lot differently than a tennis ball. It is a little more involved. There isn't as much running as tennis, but players still have to move around a lot, making for a great workout.references: jason ogden, iosco news
