A way to do this is to latch on to a few quotes that you feel appropriate to keep your enthusiasm up, provide momentum to get through a crisis, add a little humor to a difficult situation, use to close the next deal, provide impetus for a good return on your investment and any other way you see appropriate..   Birmingham MI homes for sale. So you are looking for a home... Although Birmingham is a fantastic area it’s still very risky to invest your money in buying just any house you find. So here are some guidelines as you examine the choices in Birmingham MI homes for sale.   1.       Make sure you can afford it. That goes without saying, right? Actually, you’d be surprised how many people don’t consider the added costs of buying a home like taxes, insurance, maintenance, etc. Having a dream home means very little if you’re unable to keep up with the payments.   2.       Only consider Birmingham MI homes for sale that fit your lifestyle.  Do you want a short commute to work, or do you care? Do you love nature and want to be near a park area? Before you buy any Birmingham MI real estate try ...

Amazing Torch Lake Home May 5, 2010 by Scott Hoyt · Leave a Comment  There is little debating Torch Lake is one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. This home sits on one of the greatest spots on torch lake, a cove in the middle of the lake with a sandy bottom  and no neighbors to the north for over a 1/2 mile. It is like your own private cove with caribbean blue water. The depth is perfect, not getting more than four feet deep for 100 yards from shore. Perfect for water volleyball, touch football and playing with the family! The house has a little going for it as well, 6 bedrooms (four with private baths), five and half baths, fabulous master suite with deck overlooking the cove, full walk out with wet bar, and huge family area, and out door fire pit. I have had the pleasure of s...

When it comes to Birmingham MI homes for sale, many people ask if FSBO's (for sale by owners) are really worth the time and effort involved. The simple answer is, it depends.  While it's true home sellers are becoming more educated on the process, not all transactions involving Birmingham MI homes for sale are cut and dry. Complications can arise. Plus, it takes time to sell a home. For people working odd shifts, or even those who have hectic ‘nine to five' schedules, finding the time to sell a home is more of a commitment than they can handle. There's also the advertising cost factor to consider. While it's true you need to pay a Realtor a Brokerage fee, the real estate office handles the advertising of all their Birmingham MI homes for sale. There is no upfront cost involved for you. ...

Are you searching for advice on selling Birmingham MI real estate? The first step is to think in terms of what buyers want. Now keeping that in mind, here are more specific tips to get those Birmingham MI homes for sale sold quicker and at a better price.   1. Understand the market. Leave sentimental feelings aside. Although you might love your home, realistically examine what other similar houses have sold for in the area.   2. Know your minimum price. You don't need to tell your Realtor your minimum price to begin with, but you should know, in your own mind, what's the least amount you can reasonably take for your Birmingham MI real estate.  3. Fix visible things first. A new mailbox, weeding a flowerbed or power washing the siding are low cost fixes that make a home more appealing. I...
