Real estate brokers sell homes, vacant land, lake camps, mom and pop businesses and everything in between.  But images and videos of just property doesn't really show you the people in the area the real estate originates. Thats where community videos come in. Captured this Maine quarter finals Class "B" hockey game last night between the Houlton Hodgdon Maine Blackhawks and the Presque Isle Maine Wildcats. The teams worked hard but you also see the fans, hear the band playing, and if done right, you put the viewer at the game..living in Aroostook County.  For someone thinking of moving here, you are taking them to the game to let them feel the local excitement. Are you doing community videos? The folks in the crowd are your neighbors and  friends too and appreciate seeing the game, espe...

While the Presque Isle Region may be best known for growing potatoes, this northern Maine region has its share of wilderness, woods, and water and provides recreational opportunities to those who crave outdoor activities. In addition to the hiking , fishing, canoeing and kayaking that can be enjoyed on the many good-sized lakes and rivers in the area, winter brings deep snow and, with it, unparalleled snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and Nordic skiing. This region is also well-populated by good sized towns, so area activities also include many fairs, festivals, and historic sites. The town of Caribou has an Arts and Crafts Fair in October, a Performing Arts Center, and the Nylander Museum featuring exhibits on natural history. Fort Fairfield has its Potato Blossom Festival and an 18 hole golf...

When driving along US Rt 1 in Northern Maine, you'll see some big planets..some little ones, but all to scale and in the right location to simulate the ones James T Kirk explored aboard the Starship Enterprise.  Check out the details here!  See what the Smithsonian Magazine says about the whole affair here.  The large planets of the 9 are easy to spot at 55 miles per hour but the little guys take a little more scrutiny and detective work.  Hey..what about Pluto...you're not messing with the little cold planet way way out there are you?           Stretched over a whopping 40 miles, the solar system in Maine will keep you from falling asleep at the wheel and is way way more fun than counting cows or searching ...
