So here we go with the sixth in the series, the sixth town is Hancock. Hancock is a civil war-era town located in Washington County and notably the distance between the Pennsylvania state line and the West Virginia state line is only about 1.8 miles at Hancock. The population of Hancock in the 2020 census is only 1,557. The appeal in Hancock is the sense of community, and residents living a harmonious life resulting in a relatively low crime rate.
