For those that don't know Chesapeake's Bounty was in prince Frederick. They have live crabs when they are in season. They sell plants from Spring-Fall. I have bought a few tropical plants from them before. In the winter they sell Christmas trees and firewood. The new location is at the intersection of 4 and St Leonard Road. It will be great for me since I live in Saint Leonard and I love buying fresh crabs. I also go to the nursery to buy plants often since that is one of my hobbies. The sign says they will open in the Spring. They were still working on the building when I drove by today. Phyllis Minik www.southernmarylandvacation.com

Whether it's a lakefront cottage, a cabin in the woods or a waterfront home with a pier on a river or creek, a vacation home often seems like a dream that only the wealthy can afford.  But these days, you don't have to be a millionaire to own one. With today's continued low interest rates, the tax advantages a second home can bring, and a wide selection of homes at great prices, this is an excellent time to consider purchasing a second home as an investment - and a great getaway place. Once you've settled on a community, work with a Realtor and lending institution to determine how much home you can afford.  Drive around the town and it's neighborhoods & experience the day-to-day activity around potential properties.  Keep in mind you may decide to retire to the area one day.  Will the p...

This past weekend I drove 2 hours to book a loan and then I drove another hour in the opposite direction to meet with new clients. I believe selling service and that you actually care about your clients to go that extra means alot to them. I try to get to know my clients so they can feel very comfortable with me. They will get a monthly newsletter from and other mailings to make sure they are reminded of me every month. I guess I can thank my dad for making me this way. Hardest working man I have ever seen! I hope you all have a great 2007.
