In Oxford Maryland there is a unique Restaurant/Bar called Latitude 38.  Latitude 38 is unique because every 2 weeks the menu completely changes.  Since Oxford Maryland is a small town, changing the menu every 2 weeks keeps the locals from becoming board with the menu.  Latitude 38 also provides what is called a "Bar Dinner" every evening.  This "Comfort Food" type meal is only $7.95 and the best part is you do not have to sit at the bar to get the "Bar Dinner".  With its "Cheers" like atmosphere you will feel right at home!   So if you are in Oxford Maryland stop by Latitude 38 and see what is on the menu!

Looking for something to do one weekend.  Well jump in your car, get out of the city and come and enjoy the quiet, small town of Oxford Maryland.  Located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Oxford Maryland is a wonderful place to visit. You might just want to stay longer than a day.  Oxford's main street is made up of beautiful, private, historic homes.  The town park is located in the center of town, looking out over the Tred Avon River.  There are a few shops to visit in Oxford Mayland but most of all you just relax.  If Oxford Maryland is a bit too quiet for you, then take the Oxford Bellevue Ferry and head on over to St. Michaels.  St. Michaels main street is full of wonderful shops and restaurants.  Very different from Oxford but just as enjoyable.   Enjoy your day and you just migh...

If you are a First-Time Home Buyer should you buy?  In the past it has been hard for first-time buyers to purchase a home.  Prices rose so quickly that many first-time home buyers were unable to compete in the housing market.  But with home prices falling, interest rates staying low, and many foreclosures it is a good time to buy!  In some areas there is a large inventory to pick from.  The banks are ready to get rid of all the bank-owned properties! But before you start looking to buy a home you should consider a few factors.1.  Know the market!  Make sure you are buying in a good location, with economic growth.  This should be a       long- term investment, not a short-term investment.  The housing market is not the same as it was a few years ago when you could flip a house and make a ...

One of the most beautiful places on the Eastern Shore of Maryland is Oxford!  Why do I say this - maybe because I grew up in Oxford Maryland?  No I say this because Oxford Maryland is one of the oldest, most charming towns in Maryland.  It was the first Port of Entry on the Eastern Shore - Year 1683.  The small town of Oxford is a wonderful, picture perfect place to visit or live.  The people are very relaxed and friendly.  Many events take place in this wonderful little town - The annual Oxford Day Celebration, the Fire Departments Pancake Breakfast, The Fine Arts Fair, the annual Cardboard Boat Races, the Farmer's Market every Wed night in the Spring/Summer/Fall.  Boaters come from all over the place just to enjoy the peace and quiet of this town.  If you have any questions about Oxfo...
