Do you have a SUMP PUMP?   NOW IS A GOOD TIME TO CHECK IT, then it will be ready when you need it. We've had an unexpected amount of rain this summer and hopefully nobody has been caught without a SUMP PUMP, or with a non-working SUMP PUMP.
