Residents of Leisure World Maryland Enjoy Garden Plots There are about 260 garden plots in the Leisure World of Maryland garden center located within the community and near the MedStar Medical Center. The plots are about 150 ft sq each. These plots are for the use of Leisure World residents. Individuals rent each plot on an annual basis, and must follow the rules of the garden plot organization. Garden Plot Group Managers are all volunteers and provide gardeners with all necessary large manual tools, water hoses, wood chips, clean sand, compost AND bees.
