A second round of spraying for mosquitos will happen on Thursday, September 3, 2015 for Sparks, Hunt Valley, Cockeysville and Phoenix neighborhoods, after an individual was recently infected with West Nile Virus.The first round was done on August 27.The areas to be sprayed are within a mile radius of the infected individual.The spraying is scheduled to begin after 7:30pm on 9/3/15.According to a map from the Maryland Department of Agriculture, areas to be sprayed appear to include The Hunt Valley Towne Centre, Hunt Valley Station, Hunters Run, and Highfield in Hunt Valley, Phoenix areas including Summer Hill, Eagle’s Nest, Meredith’s Ridge, and others running up Jarretsville Pike to Sweet Air Road over to Manor, and in Cockeysville, Springdale, and areas off Cranbrook and off Warren Roa... 08/31/2015

                      Another Baltimore Restaurant...Carrabba's Found a new favorite restaurant when taking my sellers out after a recent settlement. Their choice of where to dine and since we were already in the Hunt Valley area they suggested Carrabba's.                                                          What a good choice! The pastas homemade, salads were fresh, all the dishes were delicious, served with care and looked and tasted so yummy. So busy enjoying the company, I forget to take photos of the food. No problem.   Last Saturday I drove out to the splendor of Hunt Valley to observe the Maryland Grand National Steeplechase race. I had been gifted with a ticket, so I persuaded a fellow Realtor friend to give up an afternoon of showing houses to take in the races while we enjoyed a picnic.                      Steeplechasing (as it is called) has a long history in Baltimore County. Steeplechase races originated from competitions between various fox hunting clubs in the third quarter of the 19th century. As the photo shows, this group takes their heritage seriously replete with costume and pagentry.       The race grounds are in fact part of a large family estate.                  Do Not Show the Toilet...Unless It's a Royal Flush!                      We have talked about not showing photos of the toilet in our MLS. That's a no no. No one wants to see the inner workings of your bathroom. There is a time when we do need to share this information. That is when the owner has put put in high end Japanese toilets found in luxury homes. There is news about celebrities installing Toto toilets so I guess if national news can report on this subject so can we. The property at 1 Clipping Tree Lane   has Toto toilets, not in one but in all four bathrooms! Just google Toto and you will see that out of 1200 reviews, it is the best by far..maybe also the most expensive.
