Remembering What Memorial Day is About     This is one of my favorite photographs of my oldest son.  It reminds me of the great opportunites available to him because of all the members of the armed forces who have sacrificed their lives in past and present wars and military actions.  We live in one of the safest countries in the world.  My sons can become and do anything they want because of the men and women who have laid down their lives to protect the citizens of the United States and have made this one of the greatest nations in the world.  When I think of my sons I would like to thank the families of these men and women who have sacrificed loved ones for the safety of my family.  I would also like to take the time to thank the people who are currently serving in the military. I was reading the Realtor Magazine today, paying particuliar attention to the market pulse.  Following is the post online Realtor Magazine Market Pulse.  Realtor Magazine took a positive approach, as it usually does.  I am wondering what my fellow agents are seeing out there and what predictions you have for the upcoming year. Things in my area, Metro Boston North, looked like it was doing well and on an uptick until about a month ago.  With the last major bail out news, showing all but halted then we hit the holidays.  Activity is slow. I have been using YUDU Freedom to post online publications.  Its a great tool and its FREE!!  It allows you to post items  send a link in a brochure format and send the link to a client or embed the link in an email.  The following is a sample of my online resume/brochure.  It is made for print but I am going to work on one specifically enhanced for YUDU.   We're sorry, your browser doesn't support IFrames. I find Adobe Elements to be a great tool for adjusting photogrpahs.  All of my final photographs get run through Adobe Elements. You can download the program at the Adobe website.  Last I looked it was $99.00 The tool I find to be the most helpful is the transformation tool.  I take your vertical or horizontal lines and makes them perpindicular to the frame if you did not get it right taking the photograph.  The wider the angle the lens the more important it is to keep your vertical lines perpindicular with the frame.  You can also correct, lighting, color balance and other photo defeciencies.   When this photo was taken care was not given to leveling the camera off, thus the fireplace looks like it is tipping over.  Sub-consciencely buyers will wonder if there is something wrong with t... 11/24/2008
