Your agent will be able to conduct a more targeted home search if you outline your preferences in neighborhoods and nearby amenities. Here's a checklist of items you should consider and communicate to your chosen real estate agent. * Urban, suburban or rural * Commute time * School districts * Desirable neighborhoods * Proximity to the airport * Proximity to restaurants and retail * Access to major highways and thoroughfares * Access to public transportation * Health care facilities * Parks and recreation * Length of time you plan to live in the home (Your agent should be knowledgeable about growth trends and projections that could affect your investment.)

Shrewsbury 10/22/07I was curious what segment of the market was more active. Where are buyers coming from and what Price range. Looking at the MLS statistics heres what I found.Shrewsbury active listings total  - 194 homes . On deposit 23 Homes= an 8 month supply. On deposit as opposed to solds gives me a better picture of whats happening over the past 30 days. Of these 23 homes 10 are under $500,000. and 3 are in the   $500's, 3 in the $600's, 3in the 800's & 1 at $990,000.  It seems as though the under $500,000 home market is the most active. I f you are interested in a detailed report please contact me at 508 435-8786 or   www.MetrowestareaHomes.com I can provide comprehensive information to make informed intelligent decisions for you.
