Usually whale watching can be a hit or miss, but on that day it was glorious! :) So many whales to be seen and very exciting!! The trip was about a three hours long, one hour to get into the Atlantic ocean and find the whales. An hour to simply observe them in their natural habitat, and one hour to head back to the main land. They include fishing, dance cruises, whale watching, para selling and more! There is even a Pirates Museum! rrrrrrr!! The tall tower you see in the background viewing from the pier is the where the Pilgrims truly landed. This is known as the Pilgrim Monument. Provincetown is a great place to visit, any time of year. December is a much slower pace, less crowded and more relaxed. One of my favorite places to dine at is Jimmy's Hideaway. We had a wonderful dinner here last evening. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable and the food is delicious. 12/05/2009
