Homes sold in Pembroke - October 2013 In Pembroke, Massachusetts, properly priced homes are selling quickly, and inventory is low. Prices are up 2-3% since last year, while the price paid per square foot is up more. Pembroke home sales report for June, 2013   29 single-family homes sold in Pembroke in June.  The average LISTING price was $391,000.     (Average: total prices / number of homes) The median listing price was $395,000.     (Median: the home halfway down the list) The average SALES price was $383,000. The median sales price was $388,000. The average number of days on market was 80. The average price paid per square foot was $192. The averages are lower than the medians in Pembroke last month. The highest price paid for a Pembroke home last month was $550,000. There are only 65 single-family homes on the market in Pembroke today. Mortgage Rate Forecast for August 11, 2010 - Improving, or...? Here are some of the events affecting mortgage rates today: What Mortgage Backed Securities (MBS) Are Doing Today: The price of the FNMA 30-Year 4.0% MBS coupon opened at 102.47 this morning - the same as yesterday's close. At 9:30 AM, the 4.0% MBS coupon was trading at 102.72 - up 8/32 from its opening. Remember, on mortgage backed securities (MBSs), as the price goes up, the yield comes down - and so do mortgage rates. I expect that mortgage rates will be as much as 0.250 points better in price this morning as compared to yesterday.
