Powder Point, Duxbury The Powder Point neighborhood in Duxbury has two main roads that encircle the peninsula. King Caesar Road runs down the south side to the Gurnet Bridge, and Powder Point Avenue runs back along the north side toward the center of Duxbury. The Gurnet Bridge is often called the Powder Point Bridge, or even the Duxbury Bridge.   It's the wooden bridge that leads from the end of Powder Point to the Duxbury Beach. Powder Point is entirely residential single-family homes. There are families here whose lineage goes back 11 generations to the Mayflower, Myles Standish and the Pilgrims.
