Single Family home sales have had a modest increase over the past three quarters of 2009 in Bourne, Massachusetts. First quarter started off with 238 listings, 24 sales and an inventory supply of 29.8 months. Second quarter saw an increase in inventory (+18) along with an increase in sales (+14) thus reducing the months supply to 20.2 which is a significant reduction from first quarter.Third quarter also had an increase in inventory (+18) plus an increase in sales (+10) putting the supply down to 17.1 months. The Town of Bourne recently released the new property assessments.  It appears that most waterfront properties saw an increase and most that are not on the water saw a decrease.  The public can go to the town webite to search the assessments.  It's quite simple.  Go to townofbourne.com, click on departments (in the left column), click on assessor's (middle of page), click on 2009 Assessed Values (top of page), click on Search (top, towards the left), then enter either your last name or the street.  You do not need to fill in every box.  Just one will do the trick.  For example, if you enter just the street then you will get all the houses on the street.  To look at the full card of data that the town has on a property, you have to click on the little Adobe symbol to the far right.    12/10/2008
