Barbe High School  in Lake Charles Makes History!   It is  the most wonderful time of the year!  We are caught up in the holiday season of excitement of twinkling trees and magic of Santa.  Along with the holidays comes the thrill of football as we watch the 2012 year come to a close.   We had a little bit of magic and excitement right here in Lake Charles Friday night that has now been deemed "miracle on mcneese street"  This win is huge for Lake Charles and Barbe High School!! Its property  tax time!  Parishes are sending out tax notices to homeowners. Do not be alarmed if you escrow your taxes with your monthly mortgage payment, your  lender will pay your taxes. If you have questions  or concerns,  contact your mortgage lender.  normally taxes are paid by December 31 for you and you can verify that your taxes have been paid by contacting your mortgage lender.
