Changes in Garbage Collection In Jefferson Parish LA. A new policy is taking place in collection of garbage in Jefferson Parish. Up until now the collection of garbage has been bi-weekly. If your collection falls on a holiday your trash will not be picked up. With this holiday season we will see our garbage collection day be the next regular collection day. In the past your trash would be picked up within two days of the holiday. That is what I am calling Monday November 30th. We have several closing on that day. Several first time home buyers have taken advantage of the Tax Credit. Many have not. My real concern is that the upcoming holiday may throw off someone closing. If you did not take advantage of this tax saving not to worry a new plan is in place. Not as good in some measure but there is always a BUT. The (but) includes repeat home buyers.     LSU A way to await an LSU football game on the LSU grounds is to play a round of golf. The LSU Golf course is challenging and located near Tiger stadium. The coarse offers 18 holes of pure fun. In the background is the LSU Tiger stadium. In addition to the 18 holes there is a Pitch and Putt Course. The course is a nine hole Par 3. The Par 3 is great for beginners, juniors and experienced golfers. The yardage varies so your short game will benefit. In addition, they have a putting green, driving range and pro shop.
