Giving Back Ten years ago I was approached with the idea of creating a networking group.  I thought to myself, "Interesting idea."  Having never done this type of thing I figured, "Why not?!"   Ten years ago Phoenix was in a booming housing economy and business was being handed to us and the phone just rang. The initial focus of my busiess was rentals, which do not require a license in my state. Eventually, we began building the retail side of the business, which is complimented well by the thousands of rental relationships I have been able to build. Something that I noticed recently is that one of my original blog posts about Downtown Wichita Lofts has been generating a note-worthy amount of traffic to my website every day. This page not only generates qualified traffic, but it usually sends me a couple renters a month, which is some of the easiest profit my business generates. My favorite research report has given me some valuable insight. The NAR and Google study, "The Digital House Hunt" states that 86% of buyers who use online video use it to gather information about a specific community, whereas only 70% of them use video to tour the inside of a home. About a month ago, I was working on a marketing video and I found a study that was conduced by Google and the National Association of Realtors that gave a lot of valuable statistics that I think every Realtor should be aware of. One of the most interesting statistics I found was that 86% buyers are using video to gather information about a specific community, while 70% are using video to tour a property.
