My wife and I like to snorkel and decided to move up to scuba diving and are starting classes next week.  At my brother's suggestion, he said to write a blog and call it "PADI VS SSI......Which is Better?" PADI according to my instructor stands for "Put Another Dollar In" and is the more expensive of the two classes.  PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) apparently is the largest dive certification provider with the www.padi.com website.  SSI (Scuba Schools International) has the www.divessi.com website. What I am wondering is "PADI VS SSI......Which is Better?". Please feel free to give examples of pros and cons of each so I know which diving certification to get.  I can't be "diving" into Lawrence, Kansas, Homes For Sale, Real Estate 24 hours a day.  I have to see wha... 10/10/2008
