Yesterday I attended a fantastic presentation in Sydney called Aaron Shiner Live. Over 300 real estate agents enjoyed a powerful presentation by Aaron Shiner, a 29 year old agent from Sydneys western suburbs who is writing over a million dollars in fees consistently year after year in an area where the average fee is about $8,000. As you can tell, I think that filing for custody of your child may be the wrong idea; in fact I think it can be most detrimental to your child. Of course there are situations where child custody is important to have set. There are some instances that a child needs to have a set “home” and there are good ways to handle that situation. I know that this is an emotional overload. I have been there! A few months ago my daughter became very ill. The doctor thought that it may be a common ailment known as strep throat and put her on high doses of antibiotics to rid her system of the illness. Unfortunately, several weeks later we had the same issues arise…fever, swollen throat, painful swallowing among other symptoms that do scream “strep throat” to a doctor or parent.
