    A Tribute to my little Bubba    Today was the day Little Bubba went to kitty heaven.  He had a good run of 15+ years in my lap and chasing butterflies in the garden.  We will miss him. I thought I would share a cute story and appeal from my favorite animal charity in honor of my Bubba. The Independent Cat Society is a no-kill cat shelter in Westville, Indiana. My adorable and lovable kitty, Micah, has been at it again.  Getting into those spaces that he doesn't belong and making himself comfortable.  We adopted our 3 cats from the Independent Cat Society in Westville, Indiana when they were only 4 months old.  I was so wrong when I named mine Micah - after the minor prophet.  A better name would have been Jonah - a mind of his own who only does things when he is good and ready. 02/10/2010

Here are my adorable three kitties!  They are spoiled rotten and control our home.  All three are brothers from the same litter and have never been apart.  We adopted them from the Independent Cat Society in Westville, Indiana soon after moving to Indiana 4 years ago.  On cold days, they all curl up together in one big ball and sleep.  This is about the only time they stay out of trouble!  Gotta love those cats! 01/07/2010

A home without a pet isn't a home - from the view of our three cats.  Yes, we have three cats.  We didn't plan on it but that is what we ended up with 4 years ago.   Our three cats are brothers from the same litter and were adopted from the Independent Cat Society in Westville, Indiana.  We (me, my husband, and my daughter) walked into the Cat Society with plans to adopt 2 cats.  Then we saw these 3 lonely looking kitties and we each picked one up.  That did it!  We could not even think of separating them and leaving just one behind.  Of course, they quickly took over our home and our hearts.  Sometimes it's like having children around again: demanding attention and food whenever they decide it's time.  At times, they fight with each other and then fall asleep all curled up together.  T... 09/14/2009
