Wakarusa is a very small community with big community attitude! Downtown sports one traffic light and the main part of town goes one block in each directions, East, West, North and South. During the Holiday Season a 20 foot or more Christmas Tree is planted smack dab in the middle of the intersection and left turns are forbidden. The walkable score for Wakarusa Indiana has to be very high because it is such a small community, yet very close knit!
