Today is my parents anniversary, 46 years.  In a time, that many unions don't last a year or two.  My parents have been happily (mostly) married for 46 years.  so, if you see my parents around LaPorte today or up in New Buffalo at Redmaks that is where they are going for lunch.  Wish them a happy anniversery.  They have two great boys (yes, I am one of them) and 5 super grand-kids.  They have the life of Riley spending time from Indiana and Florida.  They are givers in the community.  My mom was deputy treasurer and LaPorte city councilwoman for eight years.  My dad a deacon in the church for many years.  I remember the summer he took a two week vacation to help build our church in LaPorte.  So, today, wish them a happy one and I am sure many more to come.
