Really, I'm not trying to be funny here.  It's a serious question.     Last week I was at a Realtor function and this topic came up.   A newer lender (Not one that I work with) had an elderly couple come into her office and apply for a 30 year mortgage.  She said that they were in their mid 80's.   If they paid on time every month for the next 30 years, that would make them 115 years old when they paid off their mortgage.   I'm not trying to sound morbid here, but the odds of them living to 115 is slim to none.   Even if they did, would they be able to continue working at that age?  Would their income still be there?     As an investor I would have a hard time justifying giving a 30 year loan to somebody that's 85 years old.     Is that considered discrimination?   Gene?  John?  Anybody... 06/29/2014

This past week has been BRUTAL.   A few of our closings were pushed back to next week.   A client that just closed on their new home had their sunroom flood.   We have both been running around like crazy with our business, with the continued training of our wonderful assistant, and with answering questions from the two agents I'm mentoring.
