  May property sales were 81, down 17.3% from 98 in May of 2013 and 6.6% higher than the 76 sales last month. Current Inventory (For Sale)Versus last year, the total number of homes available this month is lower by 9 units of 3.1%. This year’s smaller inventory means that buyers who waited to buy may have smaller selection to choose from. The number of current inventory is up 12.8% compared to the previous month. Property Under Contract (Pended)There was a decrease of 10.1% in the pended properties in May, with 62 properties versus 69 last month. This month’s pended property sales were 6.1% lower than at this time last year.

Central Indiana home sales up 17.3 percent year-to-date; up 12.2 percent for December Avon, Indiana Real Estate   With 1,490 pended sales in December in Central Indiana, overall year-to-date home sales are up 17.3 percent compared to this time period last year, according to statistics compiled by Chris Castetter of The F.C. Tucker Company.  On a monthly basis, December 2012 pended home sales rose 12.2 percent over December 2011, an increase of 162 homes sold in the nine counties that we track. Short Sales are so time intensive and so I would like to stream line.  I've been looking into different Short Sale Software and find it confusing and surprisingly little information out there.  I like the idea of my sellers being able to upload documents.  Once all docs are uploaded be in one area and labeled so if they need to be sent out again, it would be right there with the name of Seller and loan # automatically put on all documents.  The Short Sale software I am looking into these three but open to suggestions. 1. The last few days I have been working with out of town buyers and on the phone alot with different Realtors in the Indianapolis area.  Over and over again other Realtors shared with me their frustration with Short Sales and how much time and little money they make when they consider the hours it takes on the phone with the lenders.   All of us know that it can take months to close.  A couple of Realtors said they didn't think they would be showing or listing Short Sales it just wasn't worth it.  I've had buyers leave even though I told them up front it could take up to 4 months or even longer depending on the lender and the investor.  The buyers I was working with trusted me when I told them Short Sales are not an option for them as they had to be moved up here by October 5th and it was...
