OK I have been complaining about how bad the weather is here in Chicago area and Evanston IL. I spent a couple of days hiding out because the snow kept coming down and it was really cold with no sun shining. I got cabin fever and had places to go and people to see. Today the sun was out but it was still cold. I ventured out in the 4 wheel drive vehicle and found it inspiring enough to snap a few pictures. I ventured into the beach and the park around it and found other people walking around. It was in the teens out but sunny. I really enjoyed walking around on the beach and felt so inspired that the cold temperatures did not bother me in the least. Wilmette Homes for Sale - It's a Seller's Market The real estate outlook has improved greatly in Wilmette and it's hard to remember the bad old days of 2010.  We might want to forget, but the statistics are out there.   There are a few anomalies - particularly length of market time which increased in 2013.   However, overall these number show that Wilmette is a seller's market with only 3.4 months of inventory (if nothing else came on the market. Although it can sometimes be treated successfully with antibiotics, it is a very serious illness and can be fatal. It is spread through water vapor - usually showers, air conditioners, and hot tubs. One of the features found in many upscale homes is the whirlpool bath or hot tub. Keeping these appliances clean is crucial. Even if you don't use the whirlpool feature, the tubs, jets, and piping should be cleaned at least once a month.  I recommend referring to the owner's manual for the proper procedure. Typically, it involves filling the tub and pouring in a low-foaming cleaner and disinfectant, and running the motor for a specific period of time. ...

I just received an email from my friend Mike Basil reminding me that it's Pedal Power time again. Pedal Power collects used bikes once a year and donates them to Chicago kids who can't afford to buy a bike.
