Recently I wrote a blog post about the future happenings in Lincolnshire Illinois highlighting the bands playing at the Concert in the Green.  I noted that one of my neighbors, Karen Kiley and her band  The Retro Rockets were going to perform on July 31st.  Let me tell you,  it's one thing to write about an event in town... but its much more fun to attend it! Many of our neighbors attended the concert to listen to Karen's band, the Retro Rockets  and get together to have a wonderful summer evening.    The Retro Rockets play rock n' roll music from the 50's, 60's, 70's and 80's.    The band was unbelievable, the company was great and all in all it was a fantastic evening.   Flatlander's a restaurant attached to the concert venue provided food and drinks at a reasonable cost.  This was th... 08/02/2008
