Real Estate Market Update in Hoffman Estates - February 2018 What are Prices Doing?  Average sales price ($298,000) an increase of 2.7% from February 2017.  Remember that every subdivision is responding differently if and 'when' a home in the area goes on the market. Sellers are now pretty happy with prices or have decided that now is a good time to move.  Are you thinking of moving? With our overall amount of inventory we are in a sellers market. Inventory has actually increased from 2017 by 39%. This is unusual as the surrounding areas are having the opposite. Real Estate Market Update in Hoffman Estates - January 2018 So let me answer your real estate market questions -- What are Prices Doing?  Average sales price ($261,000) has actually declined 11% from January 2017.  Before you get upset please remember that every subdivision is responding differently if and 'when' a home in the area goes on the market.
