January YTD sales of 7 are running -36.4% behind last year's year-to-date sales of 11.   The Median Sales Price in January was $850,000, down -11.7% from$962,500 in January of 2011 and up 19.4% from $712,000 last month. December 2011 sales were at a mid level compared to December of 2010 and 2009. World Environment Day at the Chicago Botanic Garden in Glencoe This tree-hugger did not know there was an official World Environment Day - it turns out that the Chicago Botanic Garden in Glencoe will be celebrating it tomorrow, Saturday, June 4 (the actual World Environment Day is Sunday.)   World Environment Day is similar to Earth Day in that it stimulates interest and promotes knowledge of the environment and was established by the United Nations National Assembly in 1972.  The worldwide theme this year is "International Year of Forests."
