Buyers have become very savvy these days when it comes to buying homes. The internet has made everyone's desire for information peak at much higher levels than ever before, and as listing agents we must satisfy that craving by providing prospective home buyers with as much information as we can about your home. Naturally one of the ways we do this is providing additional photos, one just is not enough. I would go so far as to say if your agent only provides one photo, they are doing you a great disservice. As a follow up to the previous post about selling older homes in Barrington, I thought I would prove the point that there is a buyer for every home, but anonymity must prevail. I have a buyer in the early stages of the moving process. Currently living in the Barrington area in a 4 bedroom home built after 2000. Lives on a large 1 acre plus lot. Barrington has been around for a long time now. In fact since the early 1800's it has been growing and growing. There are not many homes left that were built in the late 1800's or early 1900's, however in the area directly surrounding the village, known as unincorporated Barrington, parts of Barrington Hills and some of the areas in both Lake and North Barrington, we have housing stock that was built in the 50's and 60's to accommodate the expansion.
