Get your passport this Saturday at the Wailuku Maui Post Office Passport Fair The 2nd annual Passport Fair will be held this Saturday March 9th at the Wailuku Post Office, located at 250 Imi Kala St., from 9:00 to noon.   Application forms and info about how to apply and what it costs can be found online at www.usps.com/passport or www.travel.state.gov/passport.  You can also call the National Passport Information Center toll free at (877) 487-2778. I attended The Manzarek - Rogers Band last night at the Iao theater in Wailuku. The show was fantastic. Very Raw and the songs are based on Poets words, Famous poets and not so famous poets. (this spoke to me) In the beginning the MIC stand fell over on Ray and he got up and quit the song went to Rogers MIC and made fun of the whole scene. He continued to talk to the crowd like it was a rehearsal. It was a very intimate show and well received. Maui folks are very Hippie-ish and loving.    Hearing Manzareks scales and chords rang tones of the DOORS and Rogers was fantastic, what a player that man is. Foreclosures in Hawaii are Over!   It’s been an interesting year 2012. It really has. The act 48 of two years ago, the act 182 of 2012 and government intervention has interrupted foreclosures in Hawaii. Many folks email and call asking where the foreclosure market is, well it never finished what it started, it was just halted. Last week we saw two homes foreclose on Maui; both of them had a public bidding war. One in Wailuku, the other in Makawao.   2013 will bring change; a new year will bring the attention of non-payment of mortgages to the fore front again.
