Kapolei Parkway and Kamokila Boulevard Extension Ground was broken Jan. 29, 2007 on an extension of Kamokila Boulevard from Kapolei Parkway to Roosevelt Avenue. Kapolei Property Development, an affiliate of the James Campbell Company allotted $2 million for six road projects in Kapolei. Those projects included a Manawai Kamaaha extension, Haumea Street extension, Kapolei interchange, Kapolei Parkway between Fort Barrette and Kamokila Boulevard, and the widening of Makakilo-Farrington. Act 48: The New Foreclosure Law This year the Hawaii legislature passed a bill making significant changes in Hawaii's foreclosure law. Act 48 became law on May 5, 2011 when it was promptly signed by the Governor upon presentation to him. Act 48 results in major changes in the process by which real property foreclosure occur in this state and significantly affect financial institutions, Homeowner Associations and the general public. The legislature's intention in enacting the law was to increase the legal rights of consumers. So I received an offer on one of my short sale listings about a month ago.  Put the package together, sent it to the lender and play the waiting game.......Everytime I call (customer service only because they won't give out the negotiators number) they tell me to send this information or that document and some kind of update, basically the run around.  Then they say don't call till this date....well I call on that date and they tell me that everything is with the negotiator and I should be receiving an answer soon. The next week they tell me that the negotiator  sent a counter a few weeks ago and that the file has been closed because we didin't respond....you have got to be kidding me right!!   Since then I have been able to get in contact with the negotiator and have forward progress, ...

We went out to Ko'olina today to take some pictures and to just enjoy a lazy afternoon after a giant lunch.  I was taking a picture of Flat Stanley (who came from Pennsylvania) and in my eyesight was......this beautiful bird. I stayed so still and just watched it slowly turn around and look at me. He stood still just watching me. I felt privileged to take his picture and how beautiful it turned out!

There is nothing finer that receiving an unexpected gift from a past client.
