Kailua Estates is located close to Kailua Town, as well as the famous Kailua Beach. The local elemetary, and intermediate schools are also right there for children to ride their bikes to. It is a highly regarded area for these various reasons, and is known to be an older clean and manicured neighborhood with larger lots. The houses are generally built from the 40's to the 70's, and the general price ranges it has been commanding is between 1 to 1.3 million. My client has been searching for that right home to retire in for approximately 2 years. Around 9 months ago, we learned of a property that was going to sell soon. We were afforded the opportunity to be given the address of the property so he could at least check out the street view of the property which didn't show much, but it had ...

My Favorite Ocean Front Communities on Oahu: Beachside in Kailua Town Beachside is a neighborhood in Kailua that perhaps exemplifies one of the nicest luxury home and beachfront communities on all of Oahu. Most all homes are right on the beach or within a short walk of the beach. The white sandy beach itself is almost three miles in length along Kailua Bay. Within the Beachside neighborhood you’ll find the Castle Point area, Kainalu Park and small Home Owner Associations such as Dune Circle and L’Orange. Many of these offer a private beach access path for residents, however there are also several public beach access points as well. Kailua Town area has a group of condo's and townhomes that is centrally located to shopping, restaurants and Kailua Beach. A great convenient way to live. No upkeep of the yard and you can come and go as you please. The variety of condos and townhomes in this area vary in amenities and price ranges.  The particular condo that I am speaking of today is one of the most affordable complexes in the area. It is called Koolau Vista and it is listed by Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties. There is a playground for the children, but minimal amenities which translates into minimal HOA fees. Lately properties have been moving pretty rapidly. To give you an idea, there are 17 active condo/townhome listings in this area, 13 are in escrow and 40 have sold within the past six months for an average of ...

Kailua is located 12 miles northeast of Honolulu-over Nu'uanu Pali, the tallest mountain peak in the Ko'olau mountain range. Kailua is a typical suburb bringing thousands home from their workplace in Honolulu. When you are driving out of the tunnel, a feeling overcomes you. It's the greenery, the serenity and the blueness of the ocean you see. Kailua's Enchanted Lake community is a residential area a few miles from Kailua beach depending on your location. It has a small local theatre, strip mall with a grocery store and various restaurants, coffee shops, and other stores that service the area. In the past six months 29 properties have sold with the average amount of $822k. There are currently 13 properties in escrow, and 18 active properties on the market.  The property I present to you...

I wanted to share with you Ka Malanai. This is a NEW condominium complex that is in the process of being built in Kailua. It has just broke ground about a month ago. I've known about this news of a new condominium complex building for several years now. I have a laundry list of buyers who would like the opportunity to purchase these units. Why is it in such a large demand? Well Kailua is a small town that has hardly any vacant land available to build beyond a house or two here and there, no less a NEW condominium complex such as this. The location is right in Kailua town, just blocks away from Kailua Beach. The location is prime! Estimated price range that has been revealed to us realtors in various regional meetings will be units starting at $400,000 to $800,000. They say that there wi...

Kailua Beachside on Oahu is known to be the most desirable area to purchase properties because of its location. If you can afford to live either on the beach or on the block where you have access to the beach, you are very lucky and fortunate! Kailua Beach is one of the most photographed and desired beaches in the world noted by many magazines. Just Google Kailua Beach and see! President Obama is known to vacation here with his family. The property he stays at is in the Kailua Beachside area known as Kailuana. We have named the house he frequently visits as the "Winter White House". The property I present to you today is a RARE Kailua Beachside property listed by Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties. Kailua is a small beach town on Oahu with approximately 50,000 residents living there. The average single family home lot is probably in the neighborhood of 6000-7000 square feet with interiors on average about 1500 sf. However there is a small exclusive community tucked away in Kailua called "Norfolk" Gov/Tag. Its zoning is AG2 which is General Agricultural District. Very exclusive, private, and lots of lush land to enjoy. Usually properties here are 2 acres or more. The great thing about this location is that Kailua town is still at your fingertips where you have restaurants, stores, and the fabulous Kailua Beach. So you have the best of both worlds. The reason why I am mentioning this is because of this featured property listed by Coldwell Banker Pacific Property. This property has o...

My Favorite Ocean Front Communities: Lanikai For those who dream of white sandy beaches, Lanikai is the place to own an ocean front home. Lanikai is exclusive, primarily residential and a fairly small neighborhood. Almost all of Lanikai is a very short walk to the beach. Whether you own a beach front home or one on the hillside, almost every home will have amazing ocean views. Many will have views of the small, uninhabited islands just offshore called the Mokoluas, a bird sanctuary. Lanikai may be unquestionably one of the most gorgeous beaches on all of Oahu and offers some of the very best beachfront luxury homes in all of Hawaii. As a result, it is one of the most desired and most expensive areas of Kailua. Architectural style here is varied. You can find multi-million dollar mansion...
