In the process of listing a home in Lokahi Makai subdivision in Kailua Kona, Hawaii. I don't know how familiar you are with these "Cooperative Short Sales" and Bank of America, but they are a pretty good deal. We've done a few of these and what happens is, the bank sends an appraiser over. they do a full on Appraisal - not a BPO (if your not familiar with these terms, please give me a call and I can bring you up to speed). Then they determine a fair market value on the property - and "wham" we got a great listing that is ready to sell.  The seller gets some money to move, the home is usually in great shape, because, like the title implies - its "cooperative" - so we are all working towards the same goal.  Give me a call if your interested in doing one of these, and here's the good news ... 02/09/2012
