Durhamtown Plantation 5K Zombie Race. Registration has come and gone, all Zombie slots have been filled, but it's not too late to go and watch! This afternoon at 1:30 Durhamtown Plantation in Union Point is hosting Run For Your Lives, a Zombie infested 5K Obstacle Course Race. Similar to the Mud Race, contestants will run 3.2 miles, which would be a challenge in itself for me, all the while encountering 12 man-made and natural obstacles like rope climbs and pools of "blood." Meanwhile bloody zombies will be all around them chasing after their "health" (i.e. The flags on the runners belts). Lose all their flags, they are out of the race.
