    Christmas at Rivermoore Park in Suwanee     Several volunteers decorated Rivermoore beginning the week-end before Thanksgiving.  It was completed for the most part by the second week of December.  Many homeowners had their own personal decorations which rivaled some commercial lighting.  The holidays are a beautiful time all over Suwanee and especially in #Rivemoore Park.     Santa came to visit the youngsters of the community on December 1 from 2-5 and the participation was wonderful.  Many young residents told Santa all about their anticipation of his upcoming visit on Christmas Eve.   The neighborhood designated one corner near the entrance to the community as the Children's Corner. Welcome Santa to Rivermoore Park!     Our neighborhood of Rivermoore Park hosted Santa on Sunday afternoon, Dec. 1st.  He arrived a little early at the newly re-decorated  clubhouse in the heart of the community.   Santa said his reindeer were happy because as they crossed over the river and the Meadow Park, they saw many of their relatives (deer - not reindeer) bedded down in the grass.  They were excited to see so many of them here.  We asked if they wanted to take some back with them on his sleigh, (please, please) but he just didn't have room.  OH DARN.  Maybe next year.  Many children turned out to see Santa and have their pictures taken with him.  There was a professional photographer available but many families brought their own camera and snapped the happy smiling faces.  Well m... 12/02/2013

Halloween was a great season in Rivermoore Park     Thanks to several hard working families Rivermoore Park had two great Halloween displays this year.  Most of these families had the help of their children in putting this together.  They were so proud of what they had accomplished.   One of the Mom's said her children made her go home a special way everyday just so they could ride by and see it.  Imagine their delight when they saw people stopped and taking pictures of their children in front of the displays.   This tradition started just last year when one of the homeowners on the landscape committee wanted to have a display and get the children involved.  There were two displays this year and we are hoping to have several more next year.  The greatest part is seeing the children invo... 11/22/2013
