Good morning....  Well, it IS morning!   almost 1 am here. I really hate getting stuck on a project that absolutely HAS to be finished before I can stop. I have just spent the last 5 hours completing a project that I had already spent another 4 hours straight on last week.   There has GOT to be a better way to check people's homeownership status than tediously going through each and every name on the county records!   When you have 500 of them it sure would pay to have a better way! Anyone know of an efficient way to accurately verify home ownership on a large scale? OH! to have NO stress!    THIS is my vision of rest and relaxation!  Now that I am DONE with that project, I can lie back and rest! Maria

Well, I say that, but I ain't giving up. I'm still doing the open houses, talking to neighbors, and believe me it's working. I guess you gotta get back to doing business old school. Just the other day I was out previewing all the new HUD homes on the list. I always make it a point to let all the neighbors know if there is a forclosure in the neighborhood. Right now there are a lot, even though the prices are high, but it gives me a good excuse to go door knocking and let them know. I got two listings last month because of this. Some people where surprised that a bank owned home was in the area, and that an agent came by to let them know. Also, the month before last I sold a bank owned to a neighbor down the street that was renting. So, you agents think it's dead out there. Get to work. ...

We've done it again in the CSRA area, Martinez, GA has made Money Magazines Top 100 list of best places to live in America.  Martinez ranked 76th on the list.  Just last year, Evans ranked 32nd but curiously failed to make the list this year.  According to the magazine news release, it took into consideration a sense of community, economic opportunities, racial diversity and good schools.  The list was whittled down from an initial list of 2, 876 communities.  According to the magazine the population of Martines is 30,900 with a family median income of $73,696 and a home median pirce of $192,465.
