Fairburn Fall Festival - Cool Cars, Food and Fun for the Youngsters This past Saturday, the 2014 Fairburn Fall Festival had some really cool cars.  There were new Dodge Charges with all kinds of wheels and lambo doors in the parade.  And there was the Corvette Club with all of their Vettes lined up nicely.  Sun roofs, split tops.  All kinds of colors. Tomorrow World Festival Is Over This Year, But What a Boost! On Thursday afternoon I stopped at one of the local grocery stores to pick up some dinner.  I could not help but to notice that every check out line was open, and there were shoppers every where.  It was as if the store manager told every employee to come to work. As the world knows the Georgia is experiencing a Winter disaster.  The Governor and the President declared a state of emergency for Georgia.  The majority of us who do not need to be on the roads have heeded the advice and directions of our leaders to stay home.  That includes yours truly. I often get this question from buyers who are looking at resales and sometimes new construction (though most buyers looking to purchase new construction has an idea of the subdivision they want to live in).  These buyers have tried the major websites i.e. Trulia, Zillow, Realtor.com, and are a little frustrated with the results. And you don't any pictures of the post renovation.  You buy the property for investment purposes looking to flip it first and if that doesn't work then rent it out.  Your agent, the listing agent, puts the same picture in the new listing that was in the old listing.  Buyers and renters want to SEE those renovations you completed.  The words in the description are a promise, but have you completed the work.  And you haven't completed the work, what is the expected date for completion?  Buyers and renters are trying to plan their moves.
