  As we all know, the economic downturn has been difficult on many.  While the drastic reduction of real estate prices has been a horror to most, for some it has been a blessing.  Many home buyers could not afford a home 5 years ago during the peak of the real estate market, but know those same homes are very affordable.  Canton real estate fits that profile nicely.  During the hot market many new home builders set up shop in Canton due to the abundance of land and lower taxes.  This has left a large amount of vacant homes in inventory.  Sellers are now forced to short sale and foreclose on these Canton homes.  There are many foreclosures currently in neighborhoods such as Bridge Mill and River Green.  These deals will not last forever and don't forget the $8,000 first time tax credit. ...
