Cabbagetown Event - Sunday in the Park at Oakland Cemetery Starting to get the Halloween spirit and looking for an event with a slightly spooky vibe to ease you into the Halloween season? Don’t miss Sunday in the Park at historic Oakland Cemetery in Grant Park on October 7, 2012! The event is Victorian themed, since the cemetery was established in the 1800s, and is Atlanta’s oldest cemetery. Should You Set Your Table When Selling Your Home? Here are my recommendations: Set one table but not both - In other words, if there's a dining room table AND a kitchen table, set only one of them. If there's only one table, take into consideration "how busy a table setting" will have from a visual standpoint. If it appears "clutter-like", then opt for a simple arrangement.    I also let the home speak to me in terms of what it needs. For example, in this home (with one table), I wanted the chandelier to take center stage. One of the quirkiest neighborhoods in Atlanta, Cabbagetown, hosts one of the best Fall events every year.  This neighborhood is unlike any other in Atlanta.  With a historical connection to the Appalachian Mountains this neighborhood has a feel all its own -- no, I'm not kidding, but that history lesson is best saved for another time. Chomp & Stomp is a great chance to enjoy a HUGE number of insanely hot & good chili's at the cook-off.....but get there early because it goes quickly.  You could get there extra early & get rid of any guilt about eating countless types of chili and drinking beer all afternoon while listening to live blue grass music because you ran the Chomp & Stomp 5k in the morning.
