Windermere September 11th Remembrance Service   The Town of Windermere, Florida will hold a September 11th Remembrance Service this Saturday September 8, 2012 at 11am. The service will be held at the Windermere September 11th Memorial site, near the Town Hall Building. Join area elected officials, Mayor Gary Bruhn, and local Boy Scouts Troop 6 for a morning of prayer, music, and reflection. Music will be performed by the First Baptist Church of Windermere.  The peaceful Memorial site is now home to the 8 foot tall, 650 pound piece of steel cut from an actual structural beam of the World Trade Center.
