Night in Naples - A Fundraiser for the Katelyn Foundation in Trinity, Florida. The Katelyn Foundation was started in memory of Katelyn T. Michaud, by mother Sandra Testo-Michaud and uncle Robert J. Testo, III. Two year-old Katelyn Michaud tragically died in a swimming pool accident on January 27, 2004. In response to her death, The Katelyn Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization for child safety awareness, was founded in 2006 by her mother and uncle to honor her memory and prevent the loss or serious injury of other precious children. Heritage Springs Rally For The Cure Golf Tournament A Huge Success! OVER $10,000 Dollars Was Raised and The Final Total Is Not In Yet!   Both the Heritage Springs Ladies Golf Association and the Fun Niners joined to host a Rally for the Cure Golf Tournament on March 28, 2011. All Heritage Springs Ladies were encouraged to participate. The weather, after 2 weeks of simply wonderful weather rained us out, but with plan B which was let's go forward with the luncheon and raffles. Heritage Springs is definitely a community with a big heart! It was a wonderful day and when we honored our breast cancer survivors with pink long stem roses and necklaces , well there was not a dry eye in the house! Hole sponsorships were available. We were playing golf this past Friday in the Couple's and were pleased to see these Sand Hill Cranes with their new adorable two new little baby chicks - hatchlings right at the men's tee box on hole 14. Look closely at the head of the crane to the right, and there is one just to the left of the same crane.  Our partners felt they couldn't be more than a week or so old. Sand Hill Cranes are a protected species so it is so thrilling to see them multiplying. We have lots of wildlife and water birds along our golf course and common areas inside Heritage Springs. Rotary Club of Trinity and the Pasco Education Foundation have a contract with Radio Disney 1380am. The school participation program  is designed to support and strengthen the youth literacy initiatives within our community. Radio Disney and Disney Hand (the worldwide outreach of The Walt Disney Company) work with local schools to offer students an opportunity to participate in Reading Together with Radio Disney, promoting social themes with a positive message; and showcasing the importance of reading.
