OK - in the old days....about a month ago, when you first brought up your A|R screen you would see all the featured posts to your left.  Then you would login and see your MY HOME page where you get to see your points and read all those wonderful messages from people who commented on your posts, etc. BUT...(and those dots are for you Susan M) there was this featured post you really wanted to comment on...but how to find your way back??? Well....I was wondering the same thing so I went on the hunt....and I FOUND IT...it's hiding under the MY PROFILE and the SETTINGS tabs....HUH!!!  Oh well, that's OK as long as I find my way back to read and comment on the words of wisdom that make it into that informative left-hand column. Just thought you would like to know....in case you were wondering...

As suspected because this is a jpg you must add the necessary verbiage to meet A|R's word count requirement.  Also, using "save other - export as HTML" did produce the image file but the image was not there.  I can't explain this as it worked before.  What I did was captured the screen shot and pasted it into my photo program then saved it as a jpg.  This is a very useful feature for saving screenshots as images.  It has a small learning curve, nothing compared to Word.  Have fun, hope this is a useful tool in your ToolKit. www.HomeSweetHomeFlorida.com   http://activerain.com/blogs/homesweethomeflorida

Can someone please answer this question which has been on my mind for quite some time.  The screenshot below was taken this morning.  www.homesweethomeflorida.com is the second result down :-)  Off to the right you will see  12 visits - 9/13/08.  I seldom see this on other sites, and while I feel it must be a good thing, I would really like to know the significance of the notation, especially in relation to SEO. Just want to share a couple of music sites which you might enjoy for your desktop. If you like your oldies check out:  http://www.tropicalglen.com/ It features the top 100 songs from 1950 thru 1989 and also categorizes several music styles like       Easy Listen      Dance     Show Tunes     Jazz You can get lyrics, WikiPedia information and other good stuff.  The songs play in random order.           CONDOMINIUM GOVERNANCE FORM Starting Jan 1, 2009 condo buyers (not developers) are to be given a new disclosure form developed by the Florida Association of Realtors which details the rights and responsibilities of condo boards and unit owners, voting rights, notice of meetings, etc.  While the form is referenced in the the Comprehensive Addendum FARA-10, it must be provided as a separate form.  It's a 5 page disclosure and while Page 1 appears to be just the title page, it does contain mandatory disclosure language that sellers must provide. I had an eye-opening experience recently while shopping online for a new DSLR camera.  It cost $725 in Circuit City....but I found it for $349 online.  Except they said they were out of stock.  Next company...DO NOT SHOP THERE was 86th St. Photo and video...their price $409.  But when I refused their offer for warranty and other stuff, they were suddenly out of stock, this was after the order had been placed online with no mention of being out of stock.  This started a serious look at Online Retailers. It doesn't get much better than hearing AND seeing Elvis Presley and Martina McBride singing a duet at Christmas.  Martina was digitally dropped into this track in 2008.  It's fun to see the girls around the stage and the clothes and hairdos worn in that genre.  The URL will open in Windows Media Player, I chose it over YouTube for better quality; I want my ELVIS as big as life, I love that man :-)  Hope your smile is as bright as mine was watching this.  I'll be singing this all day!                http://www.tinyurl.com/5leshq

 A few days ago I read a post written by Sharon Richards and haven't been able to stop thinking about it.  What Sharon did to rescue and help 5 abandoned kittens in a short-sale home is a heart-warming, uplifting story.  You can read her post:http://www.activerain.com/blogsview/816149/Are-You-Finding-Homeless-Pets.  Sharon is a deeply committed animal advocate and relatively new to Active|Rain.  When I look at the faces of these precious FurBabies, I'm not so sure I would have spared the owner from being reported to the County Rescue people...but again, that's Sharon's kind heart. What Sharon and others are doing is creating an awareness of a problem which will likely worsen.
