Today I had lunch (again) at Quillen's Taco shack, located at 1090 Garden Street in Titusville, Florida.  Funny I was on my way to watch the Final (?) launch of the Space Atlantis on a resupply mission to the International Space Station.  Quillans, the home of the absolute best and freshest tacos on the space coast of Florida, did not disappoint me again today.  The place was jammed with Shuttle Launch visitors, but obviously the Quillen's prepared in advance for the rush of customers coming into town for the launch. If the ceiling  and walls could talk in this 120 year old Kitchen ceiling Brevard County, Fl.   It would have some interesting stories to tell in deed. The City of Titusville, Florida. Originally called "Sand Point," until Confederate Colonel Henry T. Titus arrived in 1867 with the intention to build a town on land owned by his wife, Mary Hopkins Titus, daughter of a prominent planter from Darien, Georgia. He laid out roads and in 1870 erected The Titus House (This house is one block from this project that I'm working on),  a large 1-story hotel next to a Bar (establishment)saloon. He also donated land for 4 churches and a courthouse, the latter an effort to get the town designated as county seat. The community was named "Titusville" in 1873. On my way to Clermont to ride the Horrible Hundred with our ZMotion cycling team, I convinced my friend to stop by Titusville for her first Tandem Skydiving Jump. I've done mine in Oahu Hawaii last September and as my instructor said, it is really addictive and so much fun. In Hawaii I got the full video/pictures package, at this time in Florida, I was more concerned about making sure Roccio was having fun at her jump, and didn't really care for having my video...but, after all, someone told me that my instructor was actually one of the best videoman's and a Tandem Master. So, if you ever consider skydiving in Florida, ask to jump with Dean O'Flaherty. Besides having over 17,000 jumps and 18 years of experience, he made me feel very comfortable and at easy. Market Report Titusville FL 6/4/09 - With Absorption Rate This is a short report which covers all of Titusville - MLS areas 102, 103 and 104 starting near HWY 46 to Kings HWY on the south end.   I do specific reports on each of the MLS areas separately as the dynamics are different for each MLS area. There are currently 677 active listings in TitusvilleThere are currently 145 properties under contractThere have been 260 closings in the past 6 months Yes, there are fewer listings than the last report and more properties are under contract.  Number of closings in the past 6 months has also improved. Nothing fancy here....just simple and easy instructions Open your Outlook (Express) program, then click: File, Export, Address book.  Select: Text File (Comma Separated Values) click Export  Save Exported File as:  Click Browse, and save to your desktop or My Documents folder.File Name: AddressBook 6-2-09 (I save the address book with the current date) click Save.  Make sure it saves as a (*.csv) file!  Click Next>  Select the fields you want to export:  Selecting all of them is suggested.  Click Finish and the.csv file will be saved to your designated folder.  THAT SIMPLE :-) You will get a screen that says "address book export process has completed."  Click OK You're done and your address book is saved and ready to import to a new location.
