Will there be a Real Estate Recovery in 2013?  What about the potential National Real Estate Transfer/Sales Tax?  What information are you hearing?  Is this a myth or fact? I recently read that Economists gathered for a National Association of Real Estate annual meeting to discuss the real estate economy and where it's heading.  They said that the housing market likely will not recover until 2013.  Zillow chief economist, Stan Humphries was quoted as saying that home prices continue to decrease and sees a enormous amount of "shadow inventory" which potentially could delay the recovery.  He went on to say, "WE THINK THE MARKET WILL BE FLAT IN NOMINAL TERMS FOR 3 TO 5 YEARS",  WE ARE NOT GOING TO HIT BOTTOM AND SEE A V-SHAPED RECOVERY".Doug Duncan, Fannie Mae chief economist,  was quoted ...

Are YOU on the Energy Bus?  Are you driving to a great place or are you driving over a cliff?  For the past couple of weeks I have been thinking seriously about my Real Estate career and where it was headed.  Then I had to opportunity to attend ActiveRain Camp in Orlando and the FL Realtor Conference.  Two great events.  This was my first RainCamp, and it was chockful of some valuable education and tips.  Ben Kinney did a fine job, even after winning a "all you can eat" beef contest the night before.  Great job Ben.  The day went so fast, and there was so much energy in that room you could feel the walls vibrate. Yesterday, I attended the FR Convention Luncheon.  We were honored to have Jon Gordon, the best selling author of many super books; "The Energy Bus", "Training Camp - What the B...

Anyone for Spam, Scam and Eggs?  I'm looking to take orders! You remember Spam, a side dish served in many family homes years ago.  Actually, Spam can still be found today in grocery stores on their shelves.  Evidently, it can be found in other places too.  Let me break this down for you.  Very early this morning I awoke to a phone message from a potential buyer who had been looking for a rental property to rent.  She had left a message on my cell phone regarding this particular property.  Prior to this phone call, I received a similar one yesterday asking about my rental property.  The caller said they found it on Craigslist and wanted more information.  Wow, what a wake up call for me, I didn't even realize my property was for rent, at a bargain price no less.  Oh, and did I tell you ...
