The Whitfield Estates area is filled with beautiful homes built as early as 1948 up to now.  Sprinkled in with basic Florida ranch homes are Ralph Twitchell Estates and contemporary homes.  Tudors, Cape Cods and Key West style homes help to make this a most diverse neighborhood. It feels like the neighborhoods of old with canopied roads and lush landscaping. To the unknowing buyer, the Whitfield Ballentine neighborhood would seem to be free of deed restrictions and home owner's associations and any manner of rules & regulations. It's Party Time at the Bayside Pet Resort in Sarasota! Since its grand opening last year, the Bayside Pet Resort in Sarasota has become the premier boarding and day care facility in the area.  The place is like none I have ever seen, sprawling and thoroughly modern, suites for dogs and condos for kitties and an outdoor area that rivals a country club.  Its close proximity to Sarasota International Airport makes it the choice for anyone leaving their pets behind when they travel.   There is a new Spa in town and it is going to the Dogs! (cats too!)   One area of the economy that is booming is anything that has to do with pets.  Sarasota is a huge vacation destination and as a realtor I am aware of the “no pet” restrictions that most condos have regarding pets accompanying their owners in rental units.  This brand new facility is basically a 5 Star Resort for cats and dogs and I think it is going to solve the problem for vacationers who want to bring them with them. Another huge plus for this wonderful facility is that it is located less than five minutes from Sarasota Airport so that travelers can easily drop their pets off close to departure time and not have to drive miles and miles out of their way before catching their flights.  Although it will not be open ... 06/01/2012
