The increase of the FHA Up Front Mortgage Insurance Premium from 1.75% to 2.25% takes effect on FHA loans on 4/5/10.  this applies to fHA case numbers applied for by lenders on or after that date.  If you are FHA buyer  make sure that you will have  loan application completed in the next few days if possible.  On a 100,000 loan it will save you 500.00 from being added to your closing costs.
