I have enthusiastically written of my admiration for Elon Musk. The man is a revolutionary! He sends rockets into space and brings the rockets back to Earth for re-use! I love this concept because it will dramatically cut down on the space garbage that is in our orbit. When SpaceX lands their rockets, it is on a barge out in the Atlantic. They are then towed back into port.Well here is a picture you won't see just anywhere. The picture below is of a cruise ship and a space ship. Port Canaveral is now a "sister port" with Port Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates or UAE. This alliance is considered to be a "historic partnership".Jerry Allender, Port Canaveral  Authority Chairman, traveled to the United Arab Emirates with Port Canaveral  Authority Commissioner Wayne Justice and Port Canaveral Assistant Director of Cargo Shannon Feeley. The historic agreement will mean additional cargo business for Port Canaveral which is currently one of the busiest tourist cruise ports in the world. Florida Snowbirds are Arriving Every Day and it's time to be vigilent on the road and respectful of other people's space on the beach. Not everyone knows where they are going and it drives the locals crazy. We depend on tourism to help the local economy, so let's hope everyone just has fun! Donna was given some free VIP tickets for the Victory Casino ship in Port Canaveral on Sat.and they included a nice buffet as well. On top of that, she won $230 playing slots. They share the port with small personal craft, party fishing boats, freighters, tug boats, shrimp boats, cruise ships, casino boats, yachts, super boats and nuclear submarines. Port Canaveral Florida was just one of our destinations last weekend during our weekend get-a-way. It had been 5 years since my last trip to our Atlantic Coastline and this trip was a vacation Ronnie & I both needed. Jetty Park was one of the places Ron & his best friend Joe used to go surfing, so he wanted to take me there. We visited several places in the Port Canaveral/Cocoa Beach area of the Space Coast. There was a casino cruise about to depart from port but most of the cruise line docks were empty. I don't know how many cruises still depart from Port Canaveral but I do believe it is fewer than it had been. We were just south of Cape Kennedy, it was a Friday night and the last shuttle had just returned to the Cape two days earlier. Every restaurant along the waterfront was packed! ... 07/29/2011

A Brevard County firm is proposing a floating resort to be anchored offshore of Port Canaveral in Brevard County Florida.
